This Saturday, May 30th, in conjunction with the Sparta Public Library, the high school will be introducing our community reading initiative called "A Tale for One City" to the residents of the community. Please join us in a community-wide reading of The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls.
Over the course of the summer, as we are all reading this great book, various community organizations and businesses will be holding special events such as guest speakers, book talks, book brunches and other theme events. If you are a member of the community who would like to get involved just start by picking up a copy of The Glass Castle at Sparta Books. Additional copies have also been made available by the Sparta Library! Then, just follow this blog for updated information as the project unfolds.
